Archer didn't really have a home. Ever since leaving where he used to live, he was just sort of... wandering. It was not pleasant. He felt like a mess. He hadn't eaten in days and was very cold despite his thick fur. The Shiba came across a large staircase, towering above him. He was very curious, but very scared of heights. Obviously, with his lack of any common sense whatsoever, he climbed it. He freaked out halfway up, bit stared at his feet and kept going. When he neared the top, he sighed, letting out the air he had been holding in. Odd place, he realized looking around. It looked inhabited, with cabins and huts everywhere. So, he went, poking around.

A clan? He silently rejoiced. He'd been looking for somewhere to live, and this was perfect. "This is a clan? I've been looking for one, but it didn't cross my mind that this was a clan because I've been so unsuccessful. My apologies!" He wanted to be subtle about joining, even though he knew there was no shame in joining a clan. "You don't happen to be.. accepting joiners? I'm Archer, by the way."

He let out a breath of relief. "Good, good, that's magnificent." At Germanicus' question, he laughed nervously. "Not a fan, but a clan is a clan, and I'll get used to it." This was very unlike him, being the pickiest entity he knew. At Frank's remark, he felt uncomfortable, and slightly flustered. "Excuse me," he replied sharply, taking a step back from the other tom. His eyebrows were furrowed as he moved on, hearing a new voice. "Thank you for the welcome! I've actually never tried archery, and I frankly have no interest," he said. He wouldn't even try. He couldn't do any sport other than swimming, and he rarely swam because he'd get out of breath and have to stop frequently. When Scout introduced himself, he smiled. "Thank you, and nice to meet you, Scout. Perhaps we could," he replied. "Pleasure to meet you, Sweetophelia. No, I'm not from around here. I'd heard of Clans before, so I decided to find the nearest one and explore."

"Oh, it was nothing much. Just something temporary, for when I decided to live away from family." In truth, his parents had told him to leave because he was that much of an utter disappointment. "It's very far. It's taken me so long to get here," he said, sighing. "Oh, yes! A place to call my own. Yes, I'd like that very much. Shall we go?"

Archer didn't get that she wanted him to follow until she started walking, so he quickly shuffled up behind her. This individual was surprisingly courteous. He'd normally been the subject of ridicule, but this place was nicer. "So, I'd like to know more about the clan. Would you mind telling me some basics about it? Gorgeous territory by the way." He observed his surroundings as he walked, colliding into a tree branch, which caused him to stumble back and catch up with the female.

Hearing some stifled giggles, Archer flattened his ears, embarrassed. He looked back at Scout with a frown and wrinkled snout. Archer greeted Pierce with a 'hello', assuming that he was a clanmate, by the way Sweetophelia knew him. As the she-cat explained the alliance system, he nodded. "That's good, neutrality. Each member can pick their moral alliance, good." Although he tried to be as good of a person as he could, he liked freedom of choice.

his human au name is niles from now on apparently//
Niles had heard there was a gathering, and he never missed anything, as he considered lateness or absence rude. So, he'd gotten into a nice suit and headed over. He knocked on the door after Tommy closed it, waiting politely. Niles checked himself on his pocket mirror as he waited.
